VALDOSTA – The City of Valdosta is notifying residents of the Sanitation schedule change for the Juneteenth holiday.

The City of Valdosta would like to inform residents that in observance of the Juneteenth holiday, city offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th.

On this day, the Valdosta Public Works Department Sanitation Division will only collect garbage (green roll-out cans). Bulk items and yard trash will not be collected on Juneteenth. Regular bulk and yard trash pick-up services will resume on the following business day, Thursday, June 20.

Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and ensure that any bulk items or yard trash are set out for collection starting Thursday, June 20.
