VALDOSTA – Valdosta High School is pleased to announce that Lorna Chitty has been recognized as the recipient of the Region 1-AAAAAA Female Athlete Scholarship worth $500.
Each year Region 1-AAAAAA awards a scholarship to a male athlete and a female athlete from one of the high schools within the region. Each nominee is required to submit an essay with their application. The region’s principals review the applications and essays and rate the top 5 male and female athletes.
