HEADLINE: A man pleaded guilty a few days ago of poisoning over 50,000 animals.
The man apparently had been keeping the animals in his back yard and rather than making available to them the clean and safe drinking waters of his own home and family….
He offered only murky, contaminated waters–unrefined water– for some 100,000 adult and baby animals under his care.
According to reports, these animals served him daily through protection of not only his home and business, but also in serving the whole of what he stood for:
like how horses can assist with plowing; likewise with rehabilitative recreation; and even just by being something so beautiful that you find peace watching it run…
As the owner of the horse however, you chose its course….
and this man, decided these poor animals weren’t worth the opportunity of clean water to even live anymore….
I’m saddened by that…
Saddened more so by the fact that all the horse-riders aren’t ashamed: up-roared, and again, ashamed….by the fact that the PEOPLE whose backs are destined to an early “dirt-le(a)d” poison of a grave–are not even coming for the man and team responsible.
It’s easy to believe that we are equal…man and animal
But not even the Bible tells us so…
But to know, that had this been titled “Flint Residents Still Without Water…”
it probably would have been overlooked–took as a less important matter–
a matter concerning animals and human beings . . .
Certainly not the same things. . . or are they?
Oh, What a Shame ?
Now Lord, ain’t this a shame ?
