VALDOSTA — A man has been accused of assaulting a known victim with a knife Tuesday, according to Valdosta Police.

Charles Poag has been charged with Aggravated Assault regarding an attack on a victim at the 300 block of Virginia Avenue.  The victim sustained minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the incident due to discrepancies in stories from both parties.  Further charges, according to police, may be forthcoming.
