VALDOSTA — A child was shot at from a passing vehicle, while walking near the 700 block of Habersham Road.

Around 6 p.m. Monday, Ronald Welsch reported that he noticed a black Ford car riding behind him. Welsch said he began walking faster when he realized the passenger side window was down.

The boy reported hearing multiple gunshots but was not hit.

Valdosta Police Department officials are searching for the person that shot at juvenile, Ronald Welsch.

No injuries occurred and the VPD is investigating the crime at this time.
