BARTOW, Fl.— A small aircraft carrying two persons crash in the front lawn of a Polk County residential area around 11:00 AM on February 13, 2020. Though the Federal Aviation Administration did not immediately confirm the condition of the flyers, a Polk County Fire Rescue would later declare them deceased.

The plane landed on the 4600 block of Weston Road. The single-engine aircraft did not harm any residents of the nearby area. The National Transportation Board is still determining the probable cause of the accident.
