THOMASVILLE — One man is behind bars and Thomasville police are looking for another man after the two led them on a car chase, hit another vehicle, and then fled the scene.

Police reported last night around 11:30 p.m. an African American male in a grey Acura drove through a road stop and began a high speed chase.

The driver of the vehicle abandoned the car and ran into the woods. Police found multiple bags of cocaine under the vehicle and were able to arrest the passenger of the car.

Jonard Bryant, 30, was arrested and received charges of possession of a controlled substance.
