THOMASVILLE — A Thomasville Animal Hospital employee was arrested for stealing morphine from the hospital.
On Monday, 39-year-old Sheila Gailey was arrested at the animal hospital located on Smith Avenue.
Thomas County Narcotics agents caught Gailey stealing the narcotics on a surveillance camera they placed in the office.
Bailey admitted to taking two full syringes of morphine. Officials also found an empty morphine vial in Gailey’s purse.
Gailey has already been released on bond and received charges of unlawful possession of a Schedule II narcotic and theft by taking.
