VALDOSTA — On Friday, Jan. 29, Valdosta Police arrived at Park Chase Apartments on Old Statenville Rd. around 1:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

Police found Travis Roberts, Quinton King, and Cecila Simmons in the apartment with gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe the shooting was done in self-defense by King. The investigation continues at this time.

Roberts received charges of 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

All three of the victims were sent to the hospital.
