VALDOSTA, Ga.— Valdosta State’s Lady Blazers basketball team won their fifth victory, making this current streak their longest since the 2017-18 season (7 game streak). This is also the first season since 2005-06 that the Lady Blazers opened the season 5-0.

In this fifth game of the 2020-21 season, VSU faced Auburn Montgomery and came off with a crushing 66-47 win. The team was lead in points by senior Kayla Bonilla (20 points) and junior Kayla Frey (10 points). The VSU Lady Blazers will continue to play two games against Shorter January 8 and 9.
