VALDOSTA, Ga.— On Saturday, November 14, Valdosta State University Blazers held their first football scrimmage since March. Red Team was given a 14-point advantage before the start of the match to help taper the advantage of Black Team being primarily made up of starters.
Red Team increased their lead early, and back-to-back interceptions enabled them to hold their lead throughout the game. Though Black Team made a major comeback in the second half, an incomplete two-point conversion pass with 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter would cost them the game. The Red Team would take the victory with a score of 49-48.
