VALDOSTA, Ga.— On Friday, October 16, the Valdosta State Blazer’s cross country teams, men and women, will head out to Hoover, Alabama for the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazer Classic. This event will feature Blazers looking to set both personal and school records. For instance, VSU senior Angie Cirpriani currently holds the second best 6k time, behind Tyra Holloway, of 22:29.8. Also, junior Blazer Brishen House set VSU’s second fastest 8k time with a 25:52.5, just five seconds off from the number one 8k time. We can’t wait to see how these outstanding athletes preform.
