VALDOSTA, Ga.— Gulf South Conference recently named Madi Mitchell, former VSU athlete, in the All-Decade Women’s Basketball Second Team. In her time with Valdosta State, Mitchell also earned Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America Honors (2018), GSC Player of the Year nomination (2018), and a number of all-region honors attesting to her impressive collegiate athletics career. Other noteworthy persons to recieve All-Decade honors alongside Mitchell include Delta State’s Veronica Walker (Player of the Decade) and Union’s Mark Campbell (Coach of the Decade).
