LOWNDES CO., Ga. – Students and teachers at Lowndes Middle School are proud of one former student and took to Twitter to make it known.

Gearing up for the Monday night NCAA Football Championships, they remember the little kid who used to walk their halls, cute little Tory Carter who wears the number 44 on his LSU jersey and will be vying for a big title win tonight.

On Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, Mrs. Cozart, Mrs. Garner and all LMS teachers got together to wish former sixth grader, and now LSU fullback Tory Carter, the best of luck in the NCAA College Football Championships.

They tweeted, “May the Viking spirit be with you!” with the Cajun-friendly hashtag #GeauxTigers!
