LOWNDES Co. – The Georgia Amateur Golf Promotions “Fore the Kids” Charity Golf Classic deadline is April 22, 2017.
Open to civilian and Moody Air Force male and female amateur golfers 21 years old or older with a format of 18 holes 2-person scramble with tee assignments based on age consisting of Ladies Tees, Men age 21-49- Mid Senior Men age 50-59, Senior Men 60-69 and Super Senior Men 70-Up. Flights will be arranged based on posted scores.
Entry Fee is $200.00 per team and includes golf, cart, charity donation, awards and random drawing.
Optional Events will include Players Pot $20.00 per team. Team Skins Game $10.00 per team. Individual closest to the pin contests (4) $5.00 per player Hoot-Owl Charity 50/50 drawing.
The Mission of U.S. Kids Golf, U.S. Kids Golf Camps and the U.S. Kids Foundation is to make golf available to every child who wants to learn through proper instruction, correct equipment and best methods of connecting children to the game from local, regional, national and world-championship events but never forgetting that enjoying the game is the foremost goal. Life lessons learned from tee to green are what create special memories, family bonds, instill integrity, sportsmanship, character and confidence that will mean much more than champions on the course- it will create champions at life.
In giving back to the game of golf and U.S. Kids Golf the Georgia Amateur Golf Promotions is seeking sponsorship, support, donations, volunteers from local golf professionals, golf courses and general managers, community leaders, local businesses, and participation of local amateur golfers.
