VALDOSTA – All-Region honors have been announced with several going to the Lowndes High softball team, including 7A Coach of the Year.

Vikettes Coach Stewart Thomas was honored as Coach of the Year.

Ryan Hedgecock captured both Player and Pitcher of the Year honors, as well as being named 1st Team All-Region.

Hedgecock on the 1st Team All-Region by Sophie Sumner, Savannah Channell, Rachel Wolverton, Madison May, Haley Griffin and Elie Merritt.
