VALDOSTA – Golfers need to mark their calendars for new upcoming South Georgia Golf Promotions events

October: South Georgia Seniors Cup – Wallace Adams Golf Course at Little Ocmulgee State Park. Open to senior golfers 50 years old and older. Fighted by age and official USGA HDCP and Point Quotas. October 13 – optional practice round and skins game. October 14 – four-man blitz. October 15 – individual blitz.

October 22: Hoot-Owl-Amateur Tour Charity Invitational benefiting breast cancer awareness month. Open to male amateur golfers 21 years old and older. Three-man scramble flighted by age and posted scores. Georgia Veterans Memorial GC at Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele, Georgia.

November 6-12: Golf tribute to veterans and current military.  One day to six days of free golf with cart for veterans and current military. Civilians $33.00 per day for golf and cart. Optional events and prizes each day. Friday veterans day 2-man scramble. 10 a.m. shot-gun. Open to veterans, current military and civilians.
