
VALDOSTA – A former Valdosta High School football player will be inducted into the Great American Rivalry Hall of Fame during the Winnersville Classic Friday night.
Kevin Miller played defensive tackle for the Wildcats for all four of his years at the school and served as a captain of the 1985 team.
Miller went on to a 23-year-career in the United States Army, serving three tours in Iraq. He retired as a Sergeant First Class.
The Great American Rivalry Series to celebrates the cultural phenomenon of “Friday Nights in America.” In 13 years, the, Series has featured more than 600 classic games in 42 states, recognizing 1,153 student athletes with scholarships while it continues to shine the spotlight on top high school football rivalries across the nation.
