VALDOSTA, Ga. – On the heels of a Gulf South Conference title, which the Valdosta State men’s tennis team captured on April 16th, the Blazers learned in an announcement by the NCAA on Tuesday evening that their postseason run will continue at the NCAA Division II South 2 Regional this weekend in Miami Beach, Fla.

The Blazers will enter the South 2 Regional Tournament representing the No. 3 seed in the South Region, and will open up play against the No. 6 ranked North Alabama Lions on Saturday. Should the Blazers win, they would advance to Sunday’s South 2 Region finale against the winner of another Saturday matchup between No. 2 host Barry and the No. 7 ranked Mocs of Florida Southern.
