QUITMAN- Brooks County High School Student Athlete, Halle Tukes has been selected as one of the “Top 10 Most Positive Athletes in Southwest Georgia” by Positive Athlete of Georgia.

Over 3,400 student-athletes as well as coaches from 350 + high schools were nominated this year and of those, 275 of those nominees will be recognized as a regional winner.  Those regional winners will go on to be considered for the State-Wide Awards ceremony which will take place in early June.

This year, 8 new regions have been added to the program. Southwest GA, is one of the new regions this year. In its first year of growth in all of the new regions, the organization is naming a “Top 10 Most Positive Athletes” plus two “Most Positive Coaches” and a “Most Positive School.” Every regional “Top Ten” winner will be sent an official certificate from Positive Athlete and a Positive Athlete T-Shirt to congratulate them on their award.
