VALDOSTA — Lowndes County Schools has posted procedures related to tailgating for Friday’s Winnersville Classic at Martin Stadium.

The gates to Lowndes High campus will open at 3:30 PM Friday. At this time fans may enter campus and begin tailgating. No vehicles, tents, grills, etc. are allowed on campus prior to 3:30 PM. Vehicles may not park on any curbed grass areas. Tailgating is permitted on grass areas. Designated parking spaces are for parking – fans cannot tailgate in designated parking spaces. No tents, grills, chairs, etc. are allowed on paved parking areas

Please note that all tailgating spots north of the entry to the driver’s ed range along the interstate are reserved for the year. The name of the person holding the reservation is on a sign along the interstate fence.

The area between the Board of Education Annex and the back gate to Lowndes High will be open to tailgaters at 9:00 AM. Individuals for entry onto campus may start lining up at the back gate at 9:00 AM also. They should park on the shoulder next to the interstate so as not to block bus traffic. This gate will open at 3:30 PM.

Remember – All Lowndes County Board of Education property is DRUG, TOBACCO, and ALCOHOL free.  Anyone violating this rule will be asked to leave the property immediately.
