VALDOSTA — The Lowndes Vikings will open the 2015 football regular season on Friday, August 21, 2015 against the 7th ranked Roswell Hornets out of Region 5-6A.. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM at Roswell High School at the Hornets’ Nest Stadium.
Tickets for this game are $7 each and can be purchased at the gate, in Roswell, beginning at 6:00 PM Friday when the stadium opens. There will be plenty of tickets available at the gate and children under 5 are admitted free. The parking lots around the school will open at 4:00 PM and parking is $5 per vehicle.
Roswell High School is located at 11595 King Road Roswell, GA 30075. Directions to the stadium after you get on GA 400 from either I-85 or I-285 are as follows:
Take GA-400 to Exit 7B
Merge onto Holcomb Bridge Rd/GA-140 West toward Roswell
Head West on Holcomb Bridge Rd for ~ 5 miles
Holcomb Bridge Rd will turn into Crossville Rd/GA-92
Turn right at King Road. The school is .3 miles on your right.
Roswell High School’s stadium parking is the first parking lot you will see on your right before the school.
Roswell High School’s main entrance is the second entrance and has a circle drive in front of the school.
The Vikings will open their home season at Martin Stadium on August 28 against Bayside High out of Palm Bay, FL. Reserved seat season ticket packets are also still available on both the home side and visitor side of the stadium. Reserved seat season tickets are $60 for the seven home contests beginning with game against Bayside..
Student season passes for both the high school and middle school sections are on sale at each school. A student pass is required for entry to these sections and only Hahira, Lowndes, or Pine Grove middle school students may enter the middle school student section and only Lowndes High students may sit in the high school section. Student season passes are $20 each for the eight (8) home contests.
Tickets may be purchased from the ticket office located in the annex of the Board of Education building on Norman Drive. Ticket office hours are Monday – Thursday from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday.
