VALDOSTA – The 2015 Lowndes Vikings football schedule was released this week as the Vikings work to return to region contention. The last season saw Coach Randy McPherson’s side fail to reach any of the four playoff spots in the six-team Region 1-AAAAAA.
Lowndes will have a tough schedule again this season, starting with Norcross at Martin Stadium. They’ll also face Roswell away before returning home for a long stand five straight games, including their region opener against defending state champion Colquitt County.
Lowndes will only have three road games this year, two of which are region foes (Tift and Camden). Winnersville Classic will also be at Martin Stadium this year.

All home games will begin at 8:00. The games at Kingsland, Tifton and Roswell will begin at 7:30.
