ORLANDO — Orlando City is in search, like most clubs, with a proven and consistent striker. The MLS club may have found one in Brazilian Luis Fabiano.
The former Brazil national team and Sevilla striker has 7 months remaining on his contract with Sao Paulo in Brazil. According to reports in ESPN Brazil, the Brazilian club has no current plans to re-sign the striker, Orlando has their eyes set on the talented player.
Reports are also stating that Fabiano’s family has been telling friends he wants to move to the US and play with fellow-Brazilian Kaka, the star of the Orlando club. However, Fabiano is 34 and there are questions as to what of that talent he has left. Fabiano has only scored twice for Sao Paulo this season, though he scored 24 goals in the 2013-2014 season. While at Spanish La Liga club Sevilla, Fabiano scored 107 goals over a 6-year span.
