Georgia man arrested on five felony counts of child molestation

BAINBRIDGE – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested a 43-year-old Georgia man on five felony counts of child molestation.

The GBI has arrested and charged Cory Hall, age 43, of Bainbridge, GA, with five felony counts of child molestation, aggravated child molestation, statutory rape, sodomy, and incest. On December 5, 2024, the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI to investigate allegations that Hall had sexual contact with a minor. 

On January 6, 2025, GBI agents obtained arrest warrants for Hall. He was located the same day and booked into the Decatur County Jail. 

This investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the GBI Regional Investigative Office in Thomasville at 229-225-4090. Once the investigation is complete, the case file will be given to the South Georgia Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
