Oak View Group’s Ryan Fink, Event Manager at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on the campus of Florida State University, has been named to the International Association of Venue Managers Foundation’s 30|UNDER|30 class of 2024.
As part of the Build an Amazing Future campaign focused on students, young professionals, and mid-level venue management, the 30|UNDER|30 program is designed to engage the best and brightest young professionals in the venue management industry by recognizing emerging leaders – and their talents – which help accelerate the industry and carry it into the future.
Fink, a graduate of Lock Haven University joined Oak View Group as the Event Coordinator at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in 2019 and was promoted to Event Manager in 2021. Prior to joining Oak View Group, he was the Stadium Facilities Intern with the Kansas City Chiefs and an Operation Supervisor at Penn State University’s Pegula Ice Arena and Beaver Stadium.
“Ryan has done an amazing job here since starting in 2019 and I am so excited to see what the future holds for him,” says Ron Rideout, General Manager of the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. “This recognition into this exclusive group of IAVM professionals is well deserved and I am confident Ryan will continue to accomplish more milestones throughout his career in this industry.”
In its ninth year, this program focuses on identifying and developing the top talent in the venue management industry, 30 years of age and under, through increased access and exposure to industry networking and leadership. The 30|UNDER|30 class of 2024 will convene at VenueConnect, IAVM’s annual conference and trade show, July 28-31, in Portland, Oregon.
