BERRIEN Co. – Early voting is underway in the runoff election for Berrien County Sheriff.

Ballots were cast starting Monday in the race between Sheriff Ray Paulk and Frank Swanson.

The two men were part of a five-way race before former Sheriff Anthony Heath pleaded guilty to excessive force charges and was taken off the ballot.

Early voting will be open at the elections office from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m until Friday, December 2.

Election day will be Tuesday, December 6th.
