MADISON CO., Fla. – One person is dead and another injured after a crash in Madison County.
It happened around 9:58 p.m. Monday night on I-10 at mile marker 238.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Tommy Jones was driving westbound on the road in a Ford F-150 when he ran into the back of a semi-tractor/trailer.
Both vehicles ended up on the shoulder of the road.
The unidentified passenger in Jones vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
22-year-old Naquille Martin, the driver of the semi, was not injured.
FHP is investigating.
