VALDOSTA – Valdosta Police Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel are investigating a shooting death on East Brookwood Place.

Release:

On December 31, 2023, at approximately 12:27 am., Valdosta Police Officers and Emergency Medical Services responded to a residence in the 800 block of East Brookwood Place after a citizen called E911 to report a shooting. Officers found a 54-year-old male with a gunshot wound and immediately attempted to render first aid. The male was pronounced deceased at the residence.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel with the Valdosta Police Department responded and are conducting the investigation.
