VALDOSTA – VLPRA will host the “Tinsel & Treats” event for the public to have a chance to meet Santa and decorate cookies.

Cookie decorating, crafting, and some one-on-one time with Santa are all available just in time for Christmas at the Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority’s “Tinsel & Treats” event.
On Thursday, December 14th, children can create a gingerbread man masterpiece with a little help from Kris Kringle at VLPRA’s main office. The drop-in event runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1901 North Barack Obama Blvd in Valdosta. It’s only $5 per child. No registration is necessary. No cash will be accepted; check or card only. Be sure to bring your camera to capture photos of your little elf with Santa!
