VALDOSTA – The City of Valdosta announces changes it the Sanitation waste collection schedule for the New Year holiday on Monday.

In observance of the New Year holiday, the City of Valdosta offices will be closed on Monday, January 1st, 2024. ALL routes will be picked up a day AFTER their typical route day the week of January 1st.

Please note the following information regarding waste collection:

 For residents whose regular trash day is Monday (January 1st), your green can will be collected on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.

 Please place the can at the curbside by 5 am on your designated pick-up day.
