LOWNDES CO., Ga. – Investigators with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Special Operations Division, arrested Steven Morris, of 1616 East Moore Street, Valdosta, on September 26.
Morris had been identified in an unrelated case as a source of distribution for drugs in the area, according to a report from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.
The report stated that surveillance of Morris was conducted and he was observed leaving his home and was followed to a location in the 1500 block of East Park Avenue, where he had agreed to deliver drugs to a person. Morris was found to possess approximately six grams of cocaine, along with an approximate pound of marijuana.

Investigators then served a search warrant upon his home and recovered an additional two pounds of marijuana, nine grams of cocaine, approximately 160 THC vials for vaping, and approximately 270 grams of THC wax.
Morris was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of schedule 1 narcotics (THC) with the intent to distribute, use of a communications facility in VGCSA, possession of the above-mentioned drugs with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a park, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate the case to the source of supply, as well as the persons receiving the illegal drugs from Morris.
