BROOKS CO., Ga. – Valdosta Today readers alerted us that a fatal accident had taken place on Highway 133 the morning of Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

Those caught in traffic between Valdosta and Morven this morning noted that a motorcycle was covered with a sheet, and it appears that there was also a truck involved.

According to Brooks County officials, a call came in around 11 a.m.

Brooks County officials and Georgia State Patrol are both on the scene.

The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Sgt. First Class of the Georgia State Patrol Culpepper told Valdosta Today that the motorcyclist is the deceased.

They are currently still on the scene at the time of this writing.
