Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office:

On December 19, 2017, Deputies assigned to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Interstate Criminal Enforcement Team (I.C.E.), conducted a traffic stop on a commercial vehicle on Interstate 75.  A search of the vehicle was conducted, which resulted in the discovery of approximately thirteen pounds of marijuana, valued at $26,000.  There have been no arrests made at this time and this case is currently under investigation.
