THOMASVILLE — A man out on probation for other charges, has been accused of attacking and raping a woman in Thomasville.

Horace Barber, 47, was on probation for other charges prior to being arrested for the assault on a woman on Madison Alley in Thomasville.  Police allege Barber grabbed a woman from behind and then took her to an abandoned house and attacked her.

He has been arrested and is currently behind bars.
