DOUGLAS — A train struck a truck as it moved through Douglas Monday.

WALB reported that a truck was carrying a trailer of clothes got stuck on the track, and was then hit by a freight train as it passed through Douglas Monday afternoon.

The Douglas Fire Department reported no injuries when the train smashed into the trailer.

The report noted the accident occurred around 3:00p.m. on Lupo Drive.
