VALDOSTA — On Wednesday morning, 39-year-old Ronald Craft was hit and killed by a semi-truck on I-75. All lanes of traffic near exit 5 were blocked until the accident was cleaned up.

Officials believe Craft walked into oncoming traffic on purpose. Both the driver and Craft received blood sample tests for traces of drugs and alcohol.

The semi driver was taken to SGMC and treated for injuries.
