Lee Co. — A car wreck  blocked two southbound lanes and one northbound lane today on U.S. 19.

Police reported that a man driving a Honda Accord blacked out at the wheel, causing him to drive into the other lane. The man hit a woman driving a Nissan Quest head on.

The man was reported to be diabetic.

The man and woman have been taken to Phoebe Putney Hospital for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries.
