TALLAHASSEE — An unlicensed day care where a four-month-old baby was found dead last week has been shut down.

The Department of Children and Families served notice late Tuesday afternoon to close the illegal home day care on Tree Top Court in Tallahassee.

WCTV reports that it has obtained copies of that notice from DCF, naming Brittany Knight, Allison Schofield and Greg Schofield as operators and owners of the home.

The investigation into the death of the four-month-old boy is ongoing.  The infant was found dead upon arrival of police to the house.  There were a number of other children at the home when police arrived as well.
