LOWNDES CO – Lowndes County real estate inventory is up since last year with a big drop in sales since last month due to market uncertainty.

The residential real estate market in Lowndes County has seen an increase in home inventory compared to last year. Despite May and June traditionally being the busiest months, there has been a significant drop in sales since last month. This decline is attributed to market uncertainty rather than interest rates, which have dipped below 7%, making it more appealing for sellers to re-enter the market.
