VALDOSTA – The Valdosta Fire Department responded to a residential fire at Perimeter Circle that is currently under investigation.

On Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 09:06 A.M., the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 3217 Perimeter Circle. The first fire unit arrived within 4 minutes to find light smoke coming from a single-family residence. Crews were able to bring the fire under control and ensure the home was not occupied within minutes. It was determined that the residents were not home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Valdosta Police Department and SGMC EMS assisted on scene.
