VALDOSTA — The Georgia Department of Transportation lab will be taking core samples at random locations on Interstate 75. Samples will be taken from the inside lane (closest to the barrier wall) and middle lane. The work will be done at night and will require rolling lane closures. Georgia DOT will provide traffic control with the assistance of law enforcement. Please slow down if you approach the crew and remain alert for equipment and workers. All work is weather contingent.

When:        From 8 p.m. April 21 until 3 a.m. April 22, weather permitting.

Where:       Inside and middle lanes of I-75 north and south in Lowndes County from mileposts 17 to 32 (Cook County line).
