VALDOSTA, GA.— Matt Anderson, a former Valdosta State golfer, was named as an honorable mention among the Gulf South Conference All-Decade golf team. From 2015 to 2019, Anderson set the record for the fourth lowest round in GSC Championship history and earned accolades such as second team all-conference honors in 2017. Anderson also carried academic honors such as the Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-District honor in 2019. Anderson is the second male golfer for the VSU Blazers to earn All-Decade honors following Brent Witcher (First Team All-Decade 2000-2009).
