VALDOSTA, Ga. – Local golfers will be sought the Georgia Amateur Golf Promotions Points Championship Trophy Thursday October 24 at Spring Hill CC in Tifton, Ga. The field of ten champions was led by golfers from the Golf Club of Cairo, Jim Ellis, Billy Walden, David Beals and Jeff Freedman from Golf Club of Thomasville and Jack Coffey Golf Club of Valdosta. Format for the championship will be 18 holes individual stableford.

Thursday November 14, 2019 Sunset CC in Moultrie will host the GAGP Tournament of Champions where Jack Coffey will be defending his 2018 Championship. Format for the event will 18 holes Individual Stableford. Players will also be seeking awards of Player of the year, Vardon Award, most skins, most birdies, most eagles, and the Michelob Ultra Par 3 Challenge.

There are still openings for the Holiday Charity Classic December 14, at Circle Stone CC in Adel, Ga. Format is individual skins game. Entry-Fee is $46.00 and includes golf, cart,and range balls. Optional events include 50/50 charity skins game, (4) closest to pin contests, GAGP Hole in One Challenge, and Classy Caddies 50/50 drawing. The 2-for 1 membership drive is ongoing until December 31, 2019 with membership available in local cities as well as Macon, Augusta, Savannah, Rome, Albany, Valdosta and Columbus.
