Alfred (Mac) McGlamery, 78, of Valdosta, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at his residence. He was born on September 7, 1943, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to the late Alfred H. McGlamery, Sr. and Hazel Murchison McGlamery. Mac loved being outdoors and working on his land. He loved classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows. He retired from civil service at Moody AFB 347th Fighter Wing Supply Squadron in the flight service center. He also received the distinguished service award for his 35 years of service.
Mac is survived by his children, Maurice and Jenny Cronk of Moultrie, Nerissa Warmack of California, Kim and Derek Fuller of Adel, GA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his step-children, Ryan and Blair O’Neal, of Quitman, GA, Jerri O’Neal Miller, of Lake Park, GA, and Robin Jones, of Dacula, GA; his nephews and their spouses, Omar McGlamery (Enid), Devin McGlamery (Karen); niece Janet Register; nephew Jimmy Register (Cathy); two special friends, Rhonda Hall, of Valdosta, and Joye Bennett, of Nashville, GA., and his cat, Scrappy. He was preceded in death by his brother Don McGlamery and his sister, Arlene Blanchard
