Carol Yoder King, 78, of Statenville passed Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana on October 1, 1943 to the late Fora and Betty Yoder and had lived in Statenville for many years. Mrs. King loved her husband, children and her family and enjoyed drinking her coffee and watching the birds. She loved gardening her flowers and plants, animals and bowling.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy N. King of Statenville; her children and their spouses, Debra Ann and Scott Gibbs of Moore, OK, Robert Del Prete of Ocala, Fl; Jennifer and Kelby Staten of Statenville; 9-grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; five stepchildren and their spouses, Jimmy, Jr and Mary King of Brooks County, Nancy and Greg Wyers of Texas, Cheryl and Charles Barrett of New Mexico, Frankie and Marie King of Clyattville, Joyce Coody and Richard Fesler of Valdosta; many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; best friend and former sister in law, Barbara Del Prete of Moultrie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Yoder.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jaime Register officiating. Burial will follow in the Staten Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park.
