Mr. Frank Lamar Moore, affectionately called “Baby” was born August 7, 1947, in Valdosta, GA to the late Mr. Ulysses Grant and the late Mrs. Bessie Mae Moore.
He was educated in the Valdosta City School System where he graduated from Pinevale High School in 1965. After graduation, Frank went to California and joined Job Corp. He became an electrician by trade. Frank was a hard working disciplined man whose 40 plus years of employment career as an electrician included 30 years of faithful service at Tradesmen International. He was married to the late Mrs. Sandra L. Moore and to this union, one child was born.
Frank, fondly called “Baby”, was a very loving and giving father, grandfather and friend. He was very passionate when it came to raising his children; he provided tough love. He stood by the decisions he made-always firm but fair. Frank was a jack of all trades. He could build, fix, or put together anything he set his mind on. When not taking care of the needs of his family or friends, Frank enjoyed exercising, cooking, grilling, watching or participating in sports, and dancing. He was also a skilled boxer in his earlier years. His passion for life was evident in his style.
On Saturday, August 22nd, Frank L. Moore transitioned from labor to reward.
Preceding his eternal rest along with his parents, is his loving wife: Mrs. Sandra Louise Moore; grandparents: Rebecca and Mike Thomas; and one brother: Ulysses Moore.
He loves to cherish his memories, his daughter: Whitney (Carl) Gilmore of Porter, TX; his son: Corey Webber of Slidell, LA, and his stepdaughter: Tiffany Baker of Valdosta, GA; his grandchildren: Arrianna Webber and Penelope of Slidell, LA; his sister: Diane Jones of Valdosta, GA; his brother: Willie (Patrina) Jones of Valdosta, GA; special nieces: Tammy Davis of Valdosta, GA and Nikki Tiller of Tampa, FL; a special nephew: Willie Thomas of Valdosta, GA; one sister in-law: Linda Kier of Valdosta, GA; two brothers in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
