James McGill, 62, of Lake Park died Friday, September 13, 2019 at his home. He was born in Lowndes County on January 3, 1957 to the late M.C. and Lou Annie Brown McGill and was a lifelong resident of this area. James was a retired electrician and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Jamie McGill of Valdosta; two granddaughters, Jahnay Register and Jahmyia Register; his great grandson, Braxton Register; his sister and brother in law, Edna and LaRue Bryan of Valdosta; his brother and sisters in law, LaVerne and Vianne McGill of Valdosta, Jolene McGill of Lakeland, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanell Anderson and two brothers, Lewis McGill and Ed McGill.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, September 15, 2019 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Fountain officiating.
