Valdosta man wanted on a federal warrant arrested for narcotics

VALDOSTA – A 43-year-old Valdosta man wanted on a federal warrant was arrested by VPD for narcotics after an investigation.

Arrested: David London, African American male, 43 years of age, Valdosta resident

On January 16, 2025, detectives with the Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit investigated complaints of possible narcotics sales at an apartment in the 1100 block of North Oak Street. While talking with the residents at the apartment, David London, 43 years of age, was found to have an active federal arrest warrant through the United States Marshal’s Service.
London was taken into custody without incident.

During their investigation, detectives located approximately 52 grams of cocaine, along with tools that are indicative of narcotic sales.

London was transported to Lowndes County Jail. Along with the active arrest warrant, London is facing additional charges of:

  • Trafficking in cocaine-felony;
  • Tampering with evidence-felony; and
  • Possession of drug-related items-misdemeanor.
