VALDOSTA – The Jim Hinton Oil Company teams up wit The Giving Pump at Shell for drivers to fuel up while giving back.
Release:
Valdosta-based Jim Hinton Oil Company is collaborating with Shell for The Giving Pump to drive positive change by giving back to The Boys & Girls Club in South GA. Starting September 2nd and running through October 31 st , a portion of the purchases made by consumers who use the designated pump at five Shell stations across Adel, Albany, Hahira, and Valdosta will support the local Boys & Girls Clubs in their mission to support young people during out of school hours.
The Giving Pump will be specially marked with purple signage at participating Shell gas stations to inspire consumers to support this local charity when fueling up. Participating in the program is easy, as filling up with fuel is no additional cost.

Our local Boys & Girls Clubs open their doors every day to provide the young people who need them most with a safe place to learn and grow. The local Clubs in Cook, Dougherty, and Lowndes counties serve over 5,000 youth annually, providing academic enrichment, character building, physical activities, and hot and healthy meals.
The Hinton Group, which includes Jim Hinton Oil Company, Delta Tank Lines, and Live Oak Management, is pleased that our local Shell dealers have chosen to support these individual youth organizations in promoting growth and capabilities.
This year, nearly 7,500 Shell stations across the US are participating in this two-month Giving Pump initiative to support 552 local charities. Since 2021, Shell wholesalers and retailers have donated to and supported over 700 charities through The Giving Pump. Those looking to find a participating station can visit shell.us/givingpump.
